What is CA or Who is Chartered Accountant?

CA is the prime person whose expertise encompasses from accounts, taxation to law, finance, etc. CA has the MONOPOLY to conduct Audits (examination of an organization's financial records, internal controls, or other activities to verify their accuracy and reliability), upon whose signature even the UHNIs trusts and possess belief to invest crores in companies.

From which college we have to do CA?

CA is not done at colleges, it is the professional exam which is conducted by ICAI (The institute of Chartered Accountants of India), India's largest professional accounting body administered by MCA (Ministry of Corporate Affairs). ICAI was established in 01-07-1979 as a Statutory Body under Chartered Accountants Act,1949 enacted by parliament. We have to register with ICAI then appear in exam as per out preparations which is done either as self-study or through coaching institutes like Vidhyahouse, etc.

How many % needed in 12th for CA?

Irrespective of your % in 12th, you can appear in CA Exams as long as your will power and self-confidence is power packed.

Is only the CA best option?

It is not the case; but considering the prefix 'CA' in chartered accountancy course, it is only professional accounting course which allows us to be known as " CA ----- -----". No other accounting related course does so.

After CA, I get private job or govt. job?

Both options are available, in fact opportunities for a Qualified CA are endless. From Private MNCs, Banks, Consulting Firms to Public Banks, PSUs, etc. all needs a well power boosted CA. Apart from this, you will get smart enough to do your Own CA Practice or any other venture.

I am from Guj Medium/ Hindi Medium/ Other State Board, Can I do CA?

Yes for CA or in any walk of life, language is only a way to convey thoughts or communicate. Do not think it as a barrier to your dreams. If you do not have English medium background, it is not a problem at all. You will learn it thoroughly during your studies. It is like learning and getting used to a new language for your new birth after "CA".

Is it necessary to do B.Com or other graduation to appear in CA exams?

No, for foundation route students, you do not need graduation degree to appear for CA Exams. Just your confidence and hard work and that's it.
